Rooms feel like home, if your home is a charming 250-year-old! Loved the drinkable fresh milk and coffee waiting for me. Mark and Sally made sure everything was splendid, a lovely personal touch!
WiFi? What WiFi? Plus, if you're hungry on a Monday, best pack a picnic. The pub takes a day off!

The charming 250-year-old ambiance made our stay feel uniquely historical and cute.
Unfortunately, the bed needed replacement, as we could feel the springs and heard creaking with any movement.

The historic ambiance of the rooms had a warm, homey feel. I particularly enjoyed the convenience of a continental breakfast laid out in my room, complete with fresh milk for my tea, perfect for starting my mornings right.
The bed needed some serious attention-felt those springs and it creaked with any movement. The bathroom situation was a bit off. It was advertised as private, but I had to share it with another couple, and it had some cleanliness issues. If you're planning on meals, be aware that the food options drop off on Mondays, which limits your choices if you're not prepared.
